Northeastern University’s Seattle campus was growing fast, taking over more space in South Lake Union and creating an opportunity to define their physical presence in the neighborhood. We developed a system of exterior signage, interior graphics, and storytelling elements that honored the core Northeastern brand while reflecting the campus’ Pacific Northwest setting. Environmental graphics brought the university’s global reach to life, interactive art walls tell stories of Seattle’s history of innovation and the diversity of cultures that converge there, and thoughtful treatments preserved light and flow throughout the buildings.
